Describes
v0.7

The month prepared as you go, rather than assembled on the first.

The reconciliation is not a screen you visit at month end. It is a position the system holds every day, and the month end is the moment you sign it.

What it shows

  • The ledger balance: what Briesa says is held.
  • The bank balance: what the statement says.
  • The difference, itemised: unpresented, uncleared, and anything that does not match.
  • What is outstanding: as a list of records, each one click from its property.

Signing it

A reconciliation is signed by a person, dated, and kept. Once signed it is not editable — a later correction is a later entry, which is what makes the sequence provable.

Unclaimed money

Money held with nobody to pay it to is tracked to its return rather than left sitting. What is approaching the threshold appears before it gets there.
