Versions, what a bump means, and what you can rely on.
Briesa is one deployment. There is no version you choose and no upgrade you schedule — what is live is what everybody is running.
Versions
- Patch: a fix or a small improvement. Most releases.
- Minor: new capability. Announced on the changelog.
- Major: a change to how something works that you would need to know about. Announced ahead of time.
What does not change under you
- Your records: a release never rewrites history.
- Your addresses: a link that worked keeps working, or redirects.
- The audit log: entries are never rewritten, including by us.
Coming-soon pages
A page you can reach that is not finished says so, with the designed interface beneath the banner and its writes disabled. That is deliberate: you can see what is coming, and you cannot accidentally rely on it.
