Licence classes, what they gate, and being told before one lapses.
An accreditation is a licence class held by a person, with an expiry. Briesa uses it for one thing: deciding what that person may sign.
What is gated
- Agency agreements: the licence class the Act requires for the kind of agency.
- Management agreements: likewise.
- Trust authorisations: who may authorise a disbursement.
Expiry
The alerts watch the expiry date, so somebody is told before the licence lapses rather than when a signature is refused. What is expiring appears on the dashboard and in the obligations list.
