How we keep your records
Your records stay yours. Every query Briesa runs is scoped to your organisation, and the database enforces the same boundary a second time with row-level security.
Nothing changes quietly. Every write is recorded in an audit log, with who made it and when, and compliance records are never hard-deleted.
The demo never touches your data. The tour runs entirely in your browser and keeps its changes there, so nothing done in it reaches the platform.
Sign-in is its own door. Your session cookie belongs to one address and is never shared across the platform's hosts, so a session cannot quietly follow you somewhere it was not issued.
A second factor, when you want one. Two-factor sign-in is offered as you create your account, with recovery codes shown at the same moment rather than left for you to find later.
Built for the licensee. The records Briesa keeps are the ones a NSW Licensee in Charge is personally liable for, so they are kept the way an inspector expects to read them.
At a glance
The parts people ask about most. Each opens to the clause itself, word for word.
Customer data
As between you and us, you own the data you and your users submit to the Service ("Customer Data"). You grant us a licence to host, process and transmit Customer Data solely to provide and support the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of Customer Data and for having the right to provide it to us. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Read the full clauseSubscriptions and billing
- Subscriptions are priced per organisation according to the tier you select, as set out on our pricing page. Field workers, contractors and visitors are unlimited on every tier.
- Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and, unless stated otherwise, are quoted in Australian dollars and exclusive of GST, which will be added where applicable.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for successive terms unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing term.
- If you cancel, you keep access to the Service until the end of the billing period you have paid for, and we will not charge you again.
- Except where required by the Australian Consumer Law, fees already paid are non-refundable, and downgrading may cause loss of features or capacity.
- We may change our fees with at least thirty (30) days' notice, with changes taking effect at your next renewal.
Changes to Subscription Fees
Briesa may change its subscription fees from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any increase to your subscription fee. Any price change will take effect from a future billing period specified in that notice. If you do not agree to the revised subscription fee, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect without penalty.
Read the full clause- Until the new price takes effect, your existing subscription fee continues to apply.
- No cancellation fee applies if you cancel before the new price takes effect.
- If you continue your subscription after the new price takes effect, you will be billed at the new advertised rate.
Term and termination
These Terms apply for as long as you use the Service. Either party may terminate a subscription at the end of the then-current term, and we may suspend or terminate access immediately where you materially breach these Terms and fail to remedy the breach within a reasonable period. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We will make Customer Data available for export for a reasonable period after termination, after which it may be deleted in accordance with our retention practices.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These steps include encryption in transit, access controls, network protections and regular review of our security practices. Personal information is hosted with reputable cloud providers and may be stored on servers located in Australia or overseas. Where information is held or accessed overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the APPs.
We retain personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law, after which we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
