The property is the file

Why Briesa files the transaction under the property, and every other system does it the other way round.
Read the post“Close the campaign and the file stays.”
We are building the agency management system we could not find: one where the property is the root record, and the compliance is a by-product of the work rather than a second job.
An agency's memory lives in the property, and every system on the market throws that memory away at the end of each transaction. We build the other way round.
ScrollThe property first, campaigns and management periods as engagements on top, and the registers falling out of the work instead of being bolted to the end of it.
Four things we will not compromise on.
Compliance records are never hard-deleted, every write is audited, and history is not editable. If it happened, the file says so.
The rules an agency answers to are state law, so we started with New South Wales. The next state comes when we can do it as thoroughly, not before.
Per agency, never per head. Adding a cadet should not be a budget conversation.
Every part of this was checked against people who do the work, including the parts they told us were wrong.

What shipped, what licensees told us, and where the system is headed — the decisions behind Briesa, written down as we made them.

Trust
What we learned building sales and rentals trust accounting to the NSW rules, and why the audit pack should be an export.

The obligations are state law. Doing a second state badly helps nobody, so we are doing one properly.
Read the post“A system that is vague about which state it is in is worse than no system, because it will be confidently wrong at the exact moment somebody asks.”

Pricing
Per-seat pricing makes hiring a budget conversation. An agency's plan should not punish it for growing.
Read the post“We don’t charge per seat. How many people sign in decides which plan fits, and everybody inside it has an account of their own.”
We are growing carefully. If you want to work directly with the founders and ship fast, we would like to hear from you.
