Supported states and territories
Where Briesa is available, and the order the rest of Australia follows.
Briesa is built for Australian real-estate agencies, and each organisation on it belongs to one state or territory: its templates, checklists, trust rules and continuing professional development all follow that state's law. An agency licensed in two states runs one organisation for each. The platform is built for all eight from the start; each state's content is written and checked before that state opens.
At launch
Available to agencies from launch:
- New South Wales · Property and Stock Agents Act 2002
Awaiting review
Written, and waiting on a practising agent's review before these states open:
- Victoria · Estate Agents Act 1980
- Queensland · Property Occupations Act 2014
To follow
The rest of Australia, in the order it will be written and checked:
- Western Australia · Real Estate and Business Agents Act 1978
- South Australia · Land Agents Act 1994
- Tasmania · Property Agents and Land Transactions Act 2016
- Northern Territory · Agents Licensing Act 1979
- Australian Capital Territory · Agents Act 2003
Briesa's summary of each state's rules is plain language, not legal advice. The licensee in charge reads it before use.
This is a template. The dates each state opens are not yet set. This page will name them once they are.
