Why you will never pay Briesa per seat
· 1 min read
Per-seat pricing makes hiring a budget conversation. An agency's plan should not punish it for growing.
Per-seat pricing has one honest use: when each additional user costs the vendor materially more to serve. In agency software that is rarely true, and the pricing survives anyway because it converts growth into revenue without shipping anything.
The cost of that is a conversation we have heard too many times. A cadet starts on Monday, and somebody has to decide whether they get an account or share one. That is a bad reason to make a decision about your own office.
Briesa is priced per agency, banded by how many people sign in and how many teams they work in. Properties, engagements, documents and trust movements are unlimited on every plan, because those are the work, not the licence.
Every plan is also the whole system. Compliance is never an upgrade — the registers, the audit log and both trust accounts are on the smallest plan, because a smaller agency does not have smaller obligations.
